Monument was constructed by Italian immigrant Simon (Sabato)Rodia.The towers, two of them as long as 90 feet, were constructed from steel pipes and rods, wrapped with wire mesh and coated with mortar. The main supports are embedded with pieces of porcelain, tile, and glass.Subject to vandalism for many years,now it is site of wonder and museum of American Naive art.Free parking and to attend
